This white stern light has a silver housing, is horizontally mounted, and has a two-nautical-mile range. The FB base centers the wiring for antenna-type pole mountings. The base provides a screw-down onto the deck solution as well as a from-below mounting. Essentially, the base provides a sleeker, reduced profile.
